API keys

Live keys draw on your credit balance. Test keys (dm_test_) run against the sandbox — same responses, watermarked outputs, no credits.

Keep keys server-side. If one leaks, roll it — the old key stops working immediately and in-flight jobs finish on the new one.

The same on every credit block

Limits
300requests a minute, per key
Busiest minute on live keys, last 30 days303 / 300

Short bursts queue rather than fail. Past the limit the API answers 429 with a Retry-After header, and the client library waits and retries for you.

Order worker was last rate limited 16 h ago — 3 requests answered 429.

Key prefixes
